Mural de Rivera

The show "Morelos: Nuestra Historia en un Mural de Diego Rivera” is a site-specific experience hosted in the Palacio de Cortés, a monument to the state of Morelos full of pre-Hispanic, colonial, and modern features. One of these features is a famous interior mural painted by Diego Rivera that illustrates the history of Morelos.

In an effort to create a public event that would inspire pride in the citizens of Morelos and celebrate the Mexican Revolution, Cocolab created a multimedia show. Projected on the historic facade of the Palacio de Cortés, Rivera's mural came to life, narrating the meeting of different cultures, the power struggles of the region, and the important role that this state played in the Mexican Revolution of 1910.
