Tianguis Turístico is an annual event hosted by Mexican Ministry of Tourism that seeks to promote various different Mexican destinations to an international audience. In 2013, Tianguis Turístico was hosted in Puebla, and a large-scale, multimedia show narrating the history of the region was created for the event.
Exploring new narrative formats, Cocolab created a multimedia experience that narrated the founding myth of Puebla, a land where dinosaurs roamed, mythical giants erected the city of Cholula, and angels revealed the outlines of the modern city in dreams.
The show was originally planned for one night only, however, it was so popular that it was extended for three additional nights.
