Clase Azul - Sala Inspiración

Clase Azul invited us to create the Inspiration Hall at La Hacienda Clase Azul, the estate the brand opened in May 2026 in Los Altos de Jalisco after more than a decade in the making. Fifty acres of preserved volcanic landscape, five Mexican architecture studios, and one of the most ambitious ventures ever built around tequila.

The hall exists to ground visitors before they walk the property. Before seeing a tequila distillery or a ceramics workshop, you need to understand where you are standing: what this land is, whose hands work it, why agave grows the way it does in this region. We created a space where that understanding isn't explained — it's activated. The earth wakes. Roots respond. Clay passes through fire. Video mapping, immersive sound design, and sculptural work operate in layers, so that every gesture from the visitor moves something.

The whole project rests on a simple observation: an agave seen from above is a star. The shape was already in the plant. The journey makes that ascent — from root to sky — and returns visitors to open air wanting to see firsthand what they've just understood.
