“Cycles” is a large-scale audiovisual sculpture that uses moving lights to visualize sound. This original project was designed for the third edition of TAG CDMX, the first festival in Mexico to bring together creatives from across different fields to encourage young people to engage with and explore technology and their own creativity.
Using a series of laser projectors located around a structure of circular rings measuring eight meters in diameter, "Cycles" engages the senses and opens the mind to new ways of thinking about sound.
The soundscape was the result of a collaboration between artists from Mexico, Germany, Holland, and Belgium who were eager to experiment with visualizing their compositions in a completely new way. “Cycles” was later shown at TodaysART Japan.
