In 2013, the city of Puebla, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was the site of “Mosaico Poblano,” a multimedia show that highlighted the rich history of the city and was projected onto one of the city’s most iconic buildings.
Projected onto the Cathedral of Puebla, “Mosaico Poblano” narrated the origins of the city, which was founded in the pre-Hispanic era. Using multiple animation techniques, the show explored important regional symbols and created an immersive experience for viewers.
The non-intrusive projection and audio system ensured the preservation of the historic site, and this show quickly became known as one of the most innovative and engaging cultural experiences in Puebla for locals and tourists.
