Bank of México

The Bank of Mexico opened a museum in October 2021 , so you can learn about the numismatic collection and the functions of the Central Bank.

We had the opportunity to collaborate on their project, developing two mockups, which are the representation of the Bank located in the historic center of the city, manufactured 100% by hand.

The mockup has two sides. On the one hand it is the recreation of the old building and on the other we see today including the museum.

The mockup of the old building tells us the story of the years 1927 to 1952, based on photographs, films, documentaries and videos of that time, which allowed us to show every detail of each scene including real characters.

Both mackups are built with lighting, audio and technology details such as small screens that illustrate the activities that happened and happend now in some of their areas.

The two mackups, the one from old Mexico and the one from today, are designed and built with the idea of ​​showing even the smallest details, from pigeons on the balconies, documents on the desks, people working in the halls , chairs and work tables, giving life to this iconic building in Mexico City.
