The Abierto Mexicano de Diseño is a festival whose objective is to show how design can be a tool that responds to pressing cultural, social, environmental, economic, and political issues.
For the first edition of the festival, a multimedia center was created on the 35th floor of the Torre Latinoamericana. This center used creative formats and different dimensions in an effort to position the visitors on a platform that allowed them to observe and be observed by Mexico City, expanding the borders of urban consciousness.
The Torre Latinoamericana was used as the epicenter of the festival, encouraging visitors to begin their journey in this multi-sensory center, the first stop of a massive experience in Mexico City’s historic downtown.
