The city of Cholula, Puebla is the fifth most-visited city in Mexico and is home to one of the most important pre-Hispanic settlements in the country, including the largest pyramid known to exist in the world today.
The light and sound show was designed for the city’s archaeological site in an effort to explore new ways of enriching the tourism experience in Cholula and highlighting the historic and cultural value of the area. A multimedia show projected on the terraces of the Patio de los Altares narrates the founding myth of Cholula, inspiring each visitor by connecting them with their roots.
The show uses a mobile unit to project each function outside of the archaeological site, a solution that is both user-friendly and respectful of the environment.
